VA Disability Pay Rates

The tables below are transcribed from VA.gov, except the 2027 column, which is a projection and is labeled as one. At 10% and 20%, dependents add nothing. At 30% and above, dependent amounts apply. The full tables for every spouse/parent/child combination are rendered below from the same data file the pay calculator uses, so the calculator and this page cannot drift apart. Annual pages: 2024 · 2025 · 2026 · 2027 projection.

2027 rates — projection only, not published. As of October 29, 2026, VA.gov still lists the 2026 table (effective December 1, 2025) as current. The Social Security Administration announced a 3.6% COLA on October 14, 2026, which determines the percentage adjustment for VA compensation, but VA.gov has not published a verified 2027 dollar table. Every 2027 figure on this page is computed as the 2026 published amount × 1.036, rounded to the nearest cent, and is labeled "Projected estimate — not a published VA rate". The VA-published table may differ by cents (third-party 2027 figures already disagree by a cent on some dependent rows, for example 100% with spouse: $4,307.87 vs $4,307.86 under this site's rounding). This site will replace the projection with the official table the moment VA.gov publishes one, and will verify every figure against VA.gov before activating it.
